The 23rd Annual Conference of SIETAR Japan

“The Promotion and Contribution of Intercultural Education and Training”
(November 8th & 9th, 2008 at Shinshu University, Faculty of Education,
Nagano City)

SIETAR Japan will hold its 23rd Annual Conference on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, 9th, 2008 at Shinshu University, Faculty of Education, Nagano City, Nagano. We look forward to meeting you there.

Please read the following notes and proceed to application for registration. The application form, the conference proceedings and other conference-related documents are downloadable from this homepage.

Notes for Conference Attendees

Please complete and send in the application for attending the SIETAR
Japan Conference by October 1, and pay the conference fee by October 17. We appreciate your cooperation regarding pre-registration.

There is no charge for undergraduate students.

Conference Fee (if paid before October 17)
Member: 5000 yen
Non-Member: 7000 yen
Graduate Student Member: 2000 yen

Conference Fee (if paid on the day of conference)
Member: 7000 yen
Non-Member: 9000 yen
Graduate Student Member: 3000 yen

Welcome Party: 5000 yen. 
**Reservations for the Welcome Party required by October 1.

The keynote speech and the symposium will be open to the public without charges. Please circulate the information to those who would be interested.

Conference site: Shinshu University, Faculty of Education is located in Nishinagano, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. Please note that the university is located on 5 campuses in Nagano-ken, 2 within Nagano City (The Faculties of Education and Engineering are at different locations). Take care not go to a different campus.
