FEE:
Members 1000Yen; Non-members 2000Yen

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In this session, participants will be invited to engage in experiential activities that they will use to process information on cultural conflicts and transformative learning. To better understand ourselves in terms of our cultural heritage and habits, we will explore our frames of reference and points of view that are influencing factors that cause us to act and react in the ways that we do. Some transformative learning concepts, such as disorienting dilemmas, will be introduced and built upon so that participants can leave with information and techniques to use to further explore their own orientations and conflicts in the future.

PRESENTER:
Beth Fisher-Yoshida, PhD, CCS, and longtime SIETAR member, is a consultant working internationally in conflict resolution, leadership development, team building, communication and performance management. She is also Associate Director of the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution (ICCCR) at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York.

How to get there?:
i-Land Tower can be accessed directly from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Marunouchi Line by following the underground path. From JR Shinjuku Station it is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you get to the building, select an elevator that stops on the 4th floor. After you get off on the 4th floor, walk to the right until you get to the last door on your left.
