PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Demographic diversity has made working with the whole world in one room a daily reality. Diversity can enhance innovation, creativity and synergy. Diversity can also increase conflict, stress, and strife due to blind spots, prejudice and stereotype. As intercultural practitioners, you can play an important role in facilitating productive diverse teams and communities. This experiential workshop introduces a creative approach to identifying diversity opportunities, problems and solutions. You will learn practical strategies and techniques that can help you facilitate synergy and change more effectively.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply a system approach to finding diversity solutions in human and organization systems.
  • Use resisting energies change
  • Apply four leadership skills in leading change in diverse systems
  • Map journeys to competence

PRESENTER:
Rebecca is a facilitator of creative transformation. She has more than 2 decades' experience of consulting with governments, multinational corporations and community agencies. A frequent workshop presenter, Rebecca has taught in Canada, the United States and Japan. In her book, Guiding Change Journey, Rebecca shows how to apply wisdom from diverse cultures for personal and organizational transformation. Rebecca has been nominated for Women of Distinction, Practitioner of the Year and recognized by the American Society for Training and Development for her innovative approach to learning and change.

How to get there?:
i-Land Tower can be accessed directly from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Marunouchi Line by following the underground path. From JR Shinjuku Station it is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you get to the building, select an elevator that stops on the 4th floor. After you get off on the 4th floor, walk to the right until you get to the last door on your left.
