PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This session is for people who want to work and communicate across cultures - and help others to do so - in a deliberate, "conscious" way.
- Reflect on the functional and ethical responsibilities and duties of intercultural/diversity practitioners
- Consider the motivation and the basic skills and experience needed to launch a successful career in this area.
- Hear what is expected of an ethical and effective global trainer, facilitator and presenter and what the current trends and best practices are.
PRESENTER:
Jeremy Solomons is an independent coach, consultant, facilitator and trainer in global diversity and effectiveness for both individuals and organizations. He has been co-designing and –delivering intercultural/diversity career development workshops around the world since 1995. Born and educated in the UK , he has lived in eight countries and worked as a full-time banker, educator and journalist in six multinational organizations around the world.
How to get there?:
i-Land Tower can be accessed directly from Nishi-Shinjuku Station
on the Marunouchi Line by following the underground path. From JR Shinjuku
Station it is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you get to the building,
select an elevator that stops on the 4th floor. After you get off on the
4th floor, walk to the right until you get to the last door on your left.
