Description of the Presentation:
Dr. Taoda lived in Sweden with the 4 members of his family from 2000 to 2001. During that time, he was able to experience various things. With different values from Japan regarding things such as work, welfare, and education, Dr. Taoda and his family were able to encounter many Swedes and learn about Swedish culture as well as consider Japanese culture. Dr.Taoda will talk about how he went to Sweden to do research, but learned more through the experiences of his family members.

Profile of the Presenter:
Kazushi Taoda is an assistant professor of Shiga University of Medical Science. He graduated from Shiga University of Medical Science and worked as a physician of the respiratory organs and after that he returned to the graduate course of Shiga University of Medical Science and finished it. His major is preventive medicine. He went to Sweden for research from 2000, July to 2001, August with his family and joined a cooperative research work of EU.
