Description of the Program:
SIETAR Kansai in association with Osaka JALT and Kyoto JALT invites you to a lecture with Mary Matsuda Gruenewald, author of an award-winning autobiography entitled, "Looking Like the Enemy." The book portrays her experiences in the relocation camps in the US during WWII. This is the 82-year-old author’s very first visit to Japan. You can read a whole chapter of her book at http://www.newsagepress.com/ After the talk there will be time for questions and answers followed by a book signing as books will be available for sale.
