本年度の異文化教育実践研修会（リトリート）は、昨年度に引き続き、伊豆高原で、１０月１６日（土）、１７日（日）に行われることになりました。温泉で、日ごろの心身の疲れを癒しながら、シーターの仲間と、新しい知識、情報、アイディア等を交換しませんか？秋のこの研修会では、参加者が授業や研修等、実践の場で使用しているエクササイズ、ビデオ、資料等のアイディアを持ちより発表を通して研鑽を深めております。今回の研修会では、スペシャルゲストに、異文化コミュニケーション、リーダーシップ開発（ＨＲＤ）の分野の第一人者として著名な吉川宗男博士（ハワイ大学名誉教授）をお招きし、「Intercultural and Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity Development Methodology Utilizing DISC」というテーマのワークショップをお願いいたします。和気あいあいとした雰囲気の中で活発なネットワーキングと情報交換にご参加下さい。

The Intercultural Education Praxis Seminar (Retreat) this year will be held in Izukogen on Oct.16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.). This is a wonderful opportunity for you to exchange new knowledge, information, and ideas while relaxing physically and mentally at an "Onsen" (hot spring). Every year at the seminar, participants share their ideas for intercultural education and training with each other, and have an opportunity to introduce videos, exercises, simulations and other materials at a presentation session (20 minutes for each person). We have invited Dr. Muneo Yoshikawa, professor emeritus of the University of Hawaii, as a special guest to conduct a workshop entitled "Intercultural and Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity Development Methodology Utilizing DISC" during our Retreat. Dr. Yoshikawa is a well-known scholar in the field of intercultural communication and leadership development. Please plan to join us.

13,000円（会員）16.000円（一般）
11,000円（就業していないフルタイムの学生は、会員、一般を問わない）

上記費用の内訳は、一泊３食（16日夕食、17日朝食、昼食）の費用が、8,000円、リトリート参加費（懇親会費、施設利用費他）が、5,000円となっております。

お部屋/ROOM:
一部屋を、２〜３人で共有します。一人部屋はありませんのでご了承ください。伊豆高原の高台に立つ全室海に面した素敵なお部屋です。ただし、ご夫婦、ご家族で参加される方には、お早めにお申し込みいただければ、別料金（リトリート参加費を除く）で個室が用意できます。

東京方面からの交通/TRANSPORTATION from Tokyo area:

  1. JR特急「スーパービュー踊り子」使用の場合：
    東京−伊東（所要時間：94分、費用：4,390円）
  2. 小田急線とJR使用の場合：
    新宿−小田原（小田急線の所要時間：92分、費用：850円、特急ロマンスカー別料金で70分）

    <<JR伊東線乗り換え>>
    熱海−伊東 （JR東海道と伊東線の所要時間：67分、料金：650円）

伊東駅より、タクシー（4,000円程度）またはバス（シャボテン公園下車、650円）をご利用下さい。（所要時間は、タクシーまたは、バスで30 - 40分)

なお、参加される方には、後ほど詳しいお知らせをお渡しいたします。

  1. JR special express train "Super-view Odoriko":
    From Tokyo to Ito　(94 min., 4,390 yen）
  2. Odakyu-line and JR:
    From Shinjuku to Odawara by Odakyu: 92 minutes, 850yen, (70 minutes by special express train "Romance-car" plus 870 yen）

At Odawara, change to JR Tokaido line, and get off "Atami". From Atami to "Itoh", take JR Ito line and get off "Ito" (67 minutes, 650 yen）

From Itoh-station, please take a taxi (about 4000 yen) or a bus to Shaboten Park by the Tokai bus(650 yen). It takes 30-40 minutes by taxi or bus.

We will send more detailed information about transportation to the　participants later.

吉川宗男博士によるワークショップについて
 題目：Intercultural and Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity Development Methodology Utilizing DISC
概要：このワークショップでは、ＤＩＳＣというツールを用いて、"Intercultural-Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity"の開発を検討します。"Intercultural-Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity"は、現在変動している日本の社会、組織において、個（性）を活かし、多様性を創り出す為に必要な能力だと考えられます。ＤＩＳＣというツールは、人間の行動を（Ｄ，Ｉ，Ｓ，Ｃ）の４パターンに分類するもので、今回のワークショップでは、この４パターンを４つの文化と解釈して用います。参加者は、ＤＩＳＣを通して、各自がどの文化のパターン（行動パターン）に属するかを見出し、さらに、その視点から、Intercultural-Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivityの育成の問題を検討していきます。

Workshop by Dr. Muneo Yoshikawa
Title: Intercultural and Intracultural Communication Skills and Sensitivity Development Methodology Utilizing DISC
Abstract: This workshop examines the development of "intercultural and intracultural communication skills and sensitivity" utilizing DISC (a behavioral pattern measuring instrument). Such skills and sensitivity are considered necessary in today's changing Japanese society. DISC is an instrument, which classifies human behavior into four behavioral patterns, namely, D, I, S, and C patterns. In this workshop, these patterns are interpreted and treated as four different cultures. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to identify their own cultural patterns according to the DISC instrument, and through this, develop their own intercultural and intracultural communication skills and sensitivity.
