ワークショップ内容/WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
インド内やインドと関わりのあるビジネスの活性化をうけ、インド人とよりよく仕事をするためのコーチング、ファシリテーションの需要が高まってきている。インドは急激に変化しつつあり、またその一方で不変な部分も多い。この複雑な状況がもたらすチャレンジに、異文化トレーナー、コーチ、またはファシリテータとしてどう対向すべきかを考察する。クライアントの成功策をよりよくサポートすることができるよう、インドの文化的特性やそのビジネスへの影響を探り、理解を深めたい。今回の参加型ワークショップではインターアクティブなプレゼンテーションスタイルをとることにより、参加者の個々の関心にも応えていきたい。現代インドにご興味のある方ならどなたにも向いている。

The demand for training, coaching and facilitation that supports working effectively with Indians is increasing in response to the growth of business in and with India. Much about India is changing rapidly, much is staying the same. This dynamic workshop explores how the intercultural trainer, coach or facilitator can rise to the challenge of this richly multi-layered context. We will explore Indian cultural attributes and how they play out in business, deepening our understanding so as to better support our clients in developing strategies for success. The interactive nature of the course will allow for response to participants’ specific interests. The workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested in contemporary India.

講師/WORKSHOP LEADER:
ヘザー・ロビンソン。多国籍企業向けトレーニング及び組織成長コンサルタント会社、「サクセス・アクロス・ボーダー」創始者かつ主コンサルタント。アメリカ、西ヨーロッパ、南アジア地域を専門とする。インドでの主なクライアントは、ダイムラークライスラー、ペプシコ、ボーイング、ノキア、シーメンス、シスコシステム、ノバルティス、インフィネオン、ロバート・ボッシュ等。

Heather Robinson is founder and principal consultant of Success Across Borders a training and organization development consultancy serving transnational corporations. Her geographical areas of expertise are the US, Western Europe and South Asia. Clients in India include DaimlerChrysler, Pepsico, Boeing, Nokia, SIEMENS, Cisco Systems, Novartis, Infineon and Robert Bosch.

The child of a Swiss mother and an American father, Ms. Robinson was raised internationally. Having spent part of her childhood in India, with extended Indian family, and working in India for over ten years, Ms. Robinson’s knowledge of life and work in the South Asian subcontinent is uncommonly deep. She works in India regularly and has recently returned to live in the Seattle after three years in Bangalore.

Ms. Robinson has a B.A. in biology from the University of California and an MA in Whole Systems Design with a specialization in Organization Systems Renewal from Antioch University, where her area of concentration was Strategic Planning and Systems Design. Ms. Robinson has completed several courses at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication in Portland, Oregon and is qualified to facilitate Personal Leadership seminars.
Ms. Robinson was elected to the governing council of SIETAR International in 1995, served as president of SIETAR USA from 2003 through 2005 and is currently SIETAR Global Council Liaison to SIETAR India.

場所案内/How to get there?:
麗澤大学東京研究センター(新宿アイランド．タワー4階／新宿区西新宿 6-6-1)。アイランドタワーは、丸の内線西新宿駅と直接つながっています。JR新宿駅からは、徒歩10分です。低層階行のエレベーターに乗り、4階で降りて廊下を右へ進んでください。左側一番奥のドアが、麗澤大学東京研究センターの入り口です。

i-Land Tower can be accessed directly from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Marunouchi Line by following the underground path. From JR Shinjuku Station it is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you get to the building, select an elevator that stops on the 4th floor. After you get off on the 4th floor, walk to the right until you get to the last door on your left.
